The Robe of Acceptance

Wearing acceptance as a robe is a state of regal admonishing.

Many years ago I began a journey of acceptance.  It was one of the primary ways the Spirit of God (who I call His Hebrew origin name Yod-Hey-Vav-Hey, (YHVH) chose to speak to me about myself, life, His ways, my awareness, and the variances in people’s journeys.  Acceptance is really something we have to dress ourselves in and I like to see it as a robe.  Acceptance is oftentimes hidden from our awareness and we have to not only continue to practice it in every season, but also guard it once we’ve captured it in our state of awareness, and then steadfastly steward that awareness to continue to become our best, brightest self.  The state of acceptance in our awareness is a wonder-filled state of being.  This state of being and seeking to know and love myself has always been rooted in what I call the Christ-consciousness.

Throughout my journey and regardless of the circumstances I faced, whether they be a tragedy, traumas, wasted places, or loss, His ways have been revealed to me as good and just, and even when there was no way to heal or restore, He just made the wholeness ALL NEW.  In other words, it was recreated. When we are in deep painful states, this state of being recreated has much to do with acceptance.

Our acceptance has so much to do with our perceptions of what is or is not sovereign.  In every season of our journeys, we all have opportunities to give attention and diligence to acceptance.  This is especially true when the circumstance and opportunities present themselves in variables completely out of our control.  Several years ago I found myself accepting what the Spirit was calling me into, only to again recently see an even deeper and more intimate call to greater acceptance still.  I’ve always known that acceptance is a primary key to discerning more of the mysteries of God, and throughout my 43-year journey with the Spirit, I have found the Spirit of God (YHVH) to be gentle and faithful in leading me into understanding His intentions.  I’ve also come to know His intentions are not of destruction or contracting life, but to overcome and live it more abundantly.  This is mysterious at times, yet He’s been willing to reveal the mystery of His will regarding Christ-consciousness and leading me into the knowing of it as a good just plan that I get to co-labor (co-create) with as much liberty and joy as I choose to be responsible for.  What a glorious state of opportunity and existence we have laid hold of and can construct as we choose.

I often coach others in their journey about the differences between acceptance and gratitude.  Gratitude is being thankful or to appreciate something (or someone).  Whereas, acceptance is flowing in what is to be, or already is.  One of my favorite quotes of Joe Dispenza is, “You have to feel so much gratitude that your body begins to change ahead of the actual event, and accept that the new ideal already is you.”  Through any particular season, our capacity to harness courage and truly face our feelings towards our perceptions of any set of circumstances, contrast, or challenge is essential to transcending into a state of acceptance.  To accept is to believe.  To accept is to assent.  To accept is to believe.  To accept is to become.  What you give acceptance towards determines your manifestations. How we dress ourselves daily has much to do with our state of living life, and how we move and shift in any given state of flow.

Wearing acceptance as a robe is a state of regal admonishing toward a Creator (or the Universe) as a Source of light and love.  Consider dressing yourself in a robe of acceptance daily. This robe, although yours, is also a choice and holds a mysterious opportunity to increase a demonstration of power that flows from your filled state of experiencing grace and peace into whatever season you are stewarding and advancing through.  Just by choosing to dress yourself in it (acceptance) daily you are transcending moment by moment to the contrast, hindrances, expansions, or unknowns you face.  Your life and journey are worthy of full acceptance.  Here are 5 steps to aid you in positioning yourself greater into acceptance.

  1. Acknowledge that God (Source) is Sovereign and that you desire to accept what is allowed outside of your control.
  2. Ask for grace (empowerment) in your weakness (or pain) where you have not accepted the circumstances that are outside your control.
  3. Forgive yourself, for trying to control what you cannot.
  4. Through humility and honesty, transmute from the old (toxic negative emotional energy), into the new, (transfigured state of Christ-like love shining in a new vibrational wave of the frequency of life everlasting.
  5. Practice Receiving, with words of affirmation, letting Christ be your Advocate and defense toward any fears, and allow unconditional love (acceptance) to begin to manifest in your awareness.

Keep Shining!
