The Relationship between Dowsing & Feng Shui

Feng Shui and Dowsing are two completely different arts but they both work in harmony with the energy in our environment and they compliment one another.

You may have heard the saying ‘Everything is Energy’.  We are all made up of energy, and so is our home, furniture, car, literally everything around us is energy; energy is like oxygen, we know it’s there, but we cannot see it.  This energy is having an effect on you and your family.

Feng Shui will help with the flow of energy around your home, while dowsing cures the environmental energies which may be in our home or under the surface of our home.  Some of you may be able to feel these energies but you can’t explain them, you just know something doesn’t feel right.

When I perform a feng shui consultation I always advise that a dowsing consultation is needed too.  Here is a brief description about both consultations.

Feng Shui is the study of how energy in our environment affects us.  Having this knowledge allows us to alter the energy flow, making the energy more beneficial to us in our living and working environment.

How you arrange your home and business has a direct impact on your success, wealth and life.  Using feng shui knowledge to move and place objects in your home or business to remedy or activate the energies can prevent problems and take advantage of all the prosperity, happiness and good fortune of the upcoming year, creating balance and harmony.

Dowsing cures electromagnetic fields from man-made power lines, electrical appliances, cell phones, and telecommunications towers which can put our health at physical risk if subjected to these energies over a long period of time.  These negative energy fields can impact our body and immune system, and reduce our success in business and relationships.  I use dowsing rods to help to find and cure the negative environmental energies.  This is the same process that has been used for thousands of years by farmers to find water and underground water wells, and it used to be called ‘Water Witching’.

CASE STUDY

A local feng shui consultant performed a consultation for her client recently, and her client became very lethargic and just couldn’t sleep at night.  He never had any trouble sleeping before; in fact, he was a great sleeper.  As the consultant was not a qualified dowser she contacted me for advice as I am qualified in both feng shui and dowsing.

I asked her to email me a copy of the floor plan so I could virtually dowse it.  I found four negative vortexes and marked them out on the plan.  When I sent this back to the consultant, she said that the gentleman’s bed had been directly in line with the door so she asked him to move it to another position in the bedroom (when a bed is directly in line with the bedroom door, the energy will hit the person sleeping there, this is called the coffin position and is not good feng shui).

The gentleman moved his bed like she asked but on examining where the negative vortexes where on the floor plan, the consultant realized the bed had been moved directly onto a negative vortex.  This was affecting his sleep in a negative way and draining his energy.  When you sleep, your body heals and regenerates but when you sleep on a negative vortex, your body will focus all its energy protecting you from this negative energy and struggles to do anything else.  When I closed the negative vortex the gentleman’s sleep pattern returned to normal.

There are negative and positive energies in most homes which can’t be seen with your eyes, but they can be found using dowsing rods and cured so your home is clear of any negative energy and you can also find out where the positive energy areas are too.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email me on sylvia@sylviamorgan.com.
