Welcome everybody, welcome to Spiritual Biz Chat for Spiritual Biz Magazine, and today we have joining us Ana Lilia, a certified breathwork teacher, and healer. Welcome, Ana, thank you for being with us, how are you doing today? 

ANA LILIA:   Thank you, I’m so grateful to be here.

It’s a pleasure to have you here, Ana! Could you share the story behind your personal journey down the path to your current life’s purpose and work?

ANA:   About 7 years ago, I was feeling completely overwhelmed and dissatisfied with my life. I was depressed – I felt stuck, unfulfilled, and like I wasn’t in control of my life. At the time, I was working as an actor and I was tired of constantly feeling rejected. I was also having problems in my relationship. I needed help, so I started exploring different spiritual/healing classes and breathwork was one of them. The very first time I experienced breathwork was an intense experience. My body was moving involuntarily, and my hands had cramped up like lobster claws, and I cried the whole class. Yet, for the first time in a long time, I felt hopeful again and knew that things will get better. I couldn’t believe that I was experiencing all of this by manipulating my breath. It was such a simple practice, yet so powerful and effective. I continued to practice breathwork for myself as a way to manage stress, anxiety, and depression. After about six months of practicing consistently and seeing more positive changes in my life, I decided to learn how to become a breathwork coach. Four years later, I have a thriving breathwork practice where I teach people how to breathe to help them live an empowered life. 

With the coronavirus pandemic and all this current negative noise around us today, more and more people are turning to lightworkers in their search for peace and comfort, as well as discovering amazing benefits of breathwork and meditation. As an expert, what would you recommend for manifesting body health and inner peace?

ANA:   It is so important to turn off the “negative noise” and create a space for your body and mind to feel safe so that it can start to regulate itself. Breathwork is the modality I use with my clients to help them go from being in a fight-or-flight mode, and into a relaxed, rest, and digest. Once the nervous system is in the calm state, we can start to gain clarity, feel a sense of peace, and live your life from a place of feeling grounded and empowered. 

You have created an annual Manifestation workshop, “Dream Bigger”, which has started on February 6th. Can you share with us a bit about this event and its purpose? Who is it for and how can your clients benefit from it?

ANA:  One of the things I love to do is guide people to connect with their dreams, especially their goals that feel too big and impossible. That gave birth to Dream Bigger, a virtual retreat where you will learn 12 different manifestation exercises. I have expert healers teaching you their manifestation secrets and also helping you remove limiting beliefs, subconscious blocks, so you can get aligned with your goals. It’s one thing to write down your goals, but if there’s a thought deep inside of you that doesn’t believe you are deserving of this goal or you’re not ready for it, it’s going to be really hard to manifest it. At Dream Bigger we look at those fears and then reprogram them with positive beliefs that will support you to manifest. Dream Bigger is for anyone who is ready to live an authentic, fulfilling life, where you are living your truth and sharing your gifts with the world. 

What is your ultimate goal with your work? What is your mission? Your dream? What are some projects that are on your mind and that you are currently working on?

ANA:   My life mission is to help people to live a calm, grounded, and empowered life. There is so much pain in the world and in order for things to get better we need to heal the world, one person at a time. I want to help you to stop dimming your light and censoring yourself because you are part of the solution. We need your gifts to inspire, to heal your family, and your community. But before you step out as your amazing self, you need to have the capacity to hold that vibration. That’s the deep healing work I do with my RESET clients, which is a 1-1 coaching program. The transformation that happens over 6 weeks is life-changing. By the end, they feel confident and ready to live their truth. 

Is there a final message you want to let our readers know? Or just any last little words that you have for them?

ANA:   I know the world has felt scary with all the uncertainty, but you still have the power to do so much for yourself. Use this time to be really honest with yourself and see where in your life things are no longer aligned. And take that scary action to move closer towards freedom. As this pandemic has shown us, don’t wait to do things because we don’t know how much time we have on this planet. Now is your time!
