Greetings everybody, my name is Eric Poole. I’m really excited to be part of the Spiritual Biz Magazine team and be able to share with all of you little insights and inspirations. “What actions will I take today that my future self will thank me for?” Now there’s a question to ask yourself. As we progress through Earth School, life is your personal trainer. Choose your focus wisely, what do you want to spend your time thinking about. Successful people focus on what they can control, not other people’s drama.
We all want to be seeking a life of fulfillment, not success. There are many things that we can be successful at but yet are we feeling fulfilled at the end of the day. Look inwards for validation and release all need for control. Relax into the chaos of your being. By trusting, knowing, and believing we can replace blame with personal responsibility. Everybody’s opinion of you is none of your business. Stand in the beauty of your own imperfections, your own uniqueness. There is nobody else like you. As soon as you are willing to accept yourself as you are, the sooner you are freed from the burden of needing anybody to accept you.
The purpose of life is not to be happy. That’s not to say that you can’t be happy but the purpose of life is to learn, grow and evolve into the best version of ourselves that we can. As we walk our path through this growth-centric experience we start to assess our values from a different perspective. Are we living high-frequency values or low-frequency values? Where does your mind spend most of its time? What are the top values you want to be living in?
When we start to shift our perceptions that mold our reality, new lessons, and opportunities come forth to support our learning and growth. Only good comes from each experience as there are always lessons hidden beneath the surface. Don’t shy away from the hard times, ask yourself what is the lesson, what am I supposed to be learning here. Believe it or not, adversity, discomfort, uncertainty, and inconvenience are all here for your soul’s evolution.
Be a deliberate, conscious creator of your existence, your life. Start taking charge of each moment and stop allowing others to dictate your happiness. You are who you have been waiting for. You are enough, you are a perfect expression of the beauty of life. You are the love and the light.
