Pirates in Your Inner Circle

Think about the people in your inner circle. Who are they?  No, not the people who are physically in your 3D life inner circle, the people that you put into the inner circle of your mind.  This is the tribe you have created for yourself.  Let’s do an energy check on the members.  Sometimes, it’s filled with the people who vibrate on your energy level and sometimes you put people in there who don’t match your vibration level at all.

Let’s start with the family.  If you’re one of the lucky ones who is an energy match with your family members you are in a rare space.  If you’re like the rest of us, there are just some people who will never understand you or come close to being your energy match.  So, why are you allowing them in your inner circle?

Think about that for a moment.  If you let people in your inner circle who are emitting lower vibrational energies you are also letting in their personal judgments and fears.  Then those judgments and fears creep into your consciousness and you wonder why things are not sailing along smoothly.

Who are you allowing to sail your ship?  Is it your mother who is quick to judge everything she is unsure of or that makes her feel the slightest bit uncomfortable?  Is it an older sibling who bullied you into doing things his way?  Is it your fourth-grade teacher who bolstered your self-esteem by ridiculing you in front of the class? How about your Aunt, who always stood by you no matter what you went through or how awful you were as a teenager?  Maybe it’s your childhood best friend, the four-footed kind, who was always happy to see you and could read your moods like a book.

It’s time to do some inner-circle inventory and release those who are not serving your best and highest good.  Pack up their stuff and move them out, along with their judgments, fears, insecurities, negative money thoughts, and expectations.  You are creating your reality, not them.  You should fill your inner circle with people who inspire you, encourage you, and know without a doubt that what you are doing is necessary and needed.

You need to fill up your circle with people who support you fully and faithfully.  Choose the people who respect your choices and your needs.  Who cares if you’ve only known them for a few minutes, a few hours, a few years, or a few lifetimes?  It’s time to shut down the naysayers.  That is a projection of their own fears and limiting beliefs.  They are not in charge of your life, only their own.  They do not get to tell you what to do, how to live, and what to think.  That’s all you.  As author Marianne Williamson wrote in her poem, Our Greatest Fear, “Your playing small does not serve the world.” It’s time to put yourself at the helm and sail into smooth waters.

OUR DEEPEST FEAR

by: Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,

talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small does not serve the world.

There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other

people won’t feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of

God that is within us.

It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine,

we unconsciously give other people

permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear,

Our presence automatically liberates others.
