Pet Feng Shui

Do you own a pet? A dog, cat, fish, hamster, bird, there are so many different types of pets, too many to name.

I have great news, owning a pet is great feng shui. Pets are constantly moving around, so they circulate the good chi. Lively pets represent vibrant positive energy.

Here are some pet rules to ensure that the energy flowing is good.

1.  Look after your pets well.

Your pets need lots of love and affection, never neglect them because this will bring bad feng shui. A good example is if you own an aquarium and do not take care of it, the water will become dirty and stagnant, and this can result in financial problems. Remember to give your pets the attention they deserve.

2.  Provide them with their own special place.

Give your pet its own clean place to sleep. Avoid having them sleep in your bed if possible. It can affect your relationship or marriage if you do. Place their bed in a corner so they feel secure and protected. It is not ideal to place them in a doorway or walkway. If you own a cat or a dog, do not lock them away in a cage or in one room, it minimizes their movement and the flow of good energy around your home.

3.  Remove pet waste.

Keep your home as clean as possible by removing any pet waste. Ensure you have a clean litter tray to avoid bad odours. If possible, keep the litter tray in the bathroom. Tidy away any pet toys to minimise clutter and keep your home tidy.

4.  Pet Photographs

We all love our pets but avoid putting too many photos of them on display in your home. This is especially important if you are single and looking for a new relationship.

I was asked, am I a dog person or a cat person? I personally love both. Dogs and cats make the most amazing companions. Dogs are great protectors and cats are wonderful healers.

If you own a cat, you will sense if you have a negative vortex in your home or negative energy. A cat will sit in this area most of the time. Cats love negative energy and absorb the energy to protect us from it. They naturally heal the environment.

A dog is the opposite, it will not go anywhere near any negative energy, however, it is excellent at sensing spirits way before we are aware they are there.

Approximately 70% of my clients call me to ask for help because their dog’s behaviour has alerted them to a presence in their home. I received a call asking me to clear a spirit from a client’s basement. When I checked, there were two spirits down there. Their dog stood at the top of the basement stairs and barked continuously which was driving his owners crazy. He refused to go down into the basement and went crazy when his owners did. After a few attempts, I managed to clear both spirits (they were tricky ones), and the barking stopped. The dog still refused to go down into the basement for a while, even though the dog settled and sensed the spirits had gone.

It took a few days for the memory to fade and for him to be brave enough to go down there himself.

If you feel that your pet is distressed because it can sense a spirit in your home, please let me know and I can try and help.
