It’s a New Dawn, It’s a New Year, It’s a New Era
Sometimes it feels like rapid-speed into the holidays; rush orders on all sorts of gifts and the sleepy call of wintertime can be an interesting mixed message for spiritual entrepreneurs of all kinds. It’s when the holidays are over, it’s when business really does feel like busy-ness and it takes very conscious ease to find your own flow at this time. It’s so important that we do because the energies we carry into the year of 2020 can be determined by us, or by what’s around us (e.g., what we have already manifested). This subtle inner-standing is the core, the key to opening a new door in the new year.
It’s a year with spirituality on the mind with concepts like quantum physics and spirituality, Kemetic spirituality, and eclipse astrology up over 300% in Google searches, with the last up to over 4,900%! This is a phenomenon. For entrepreneurs, it can feel like a crowding but booming market all at once. The opportunities are only as limited as our beliefs, and it looks like there is a lot of collective energy buzzing. This does two things: makes the inner work even more important and has the wild effect of faster than ever before manifestation times.
Developing practices and routines are key to strengthening the inner self. Just as doing 1000 sit-ups will improve your abdominal muscles, you can expect the time you routinely devote to meditation, breathwork, writing, studying, etc. Astrologically, we see practice and routine in the Sixth House of health, habits, and daily activities. We see the highest octave of spirituality open up to us in the Twelfth House only once the entire Sixth-Twelfth House is active.
This year rather than setting intentions and resolutions, it’s a perfect time to review and choose, perhaps with a renewed energy or adjustments for where you are at this point in your life, from one that you have chosen before. It is a new decade, a new era, and it is time to become the master of that which we have chosen. There seems to be a lot in the air these days, from political instability to unpredictable climates, from personal empowerment to volatile changes. It is safe to say, none of us are who we were when the decade began and none of us can say where “all this” is going.
Though things are moving faster now than at any point in history, the steadfast wisdom of ancient mystics and philosophers to go perpetually within holds true. The lesson is still the same, the pathways to access our true selves are still available to us. The more time we take to access these pathways, the more benefits we will see. And there are so many of us on this journey, so even though it is a path we walk on our own, we are not the only ones. It’s not a movement you will see on the news, but it is a movement that has gained rapid momentum in the opening of consciousness and the “admittance” of others on the path.
This new year is the dawn of a new era with all the promises a new era holds. And so much more; the surprises are part of the adventure and excitement. So as you go about refining and launching from this new place in what we call time/space reality, enjoy the journey. For those on the entrepreneurial path of the spirit, continue to tap into the collective consciousness by tapping into your own. For those taking time away/to themselves or entering retirement, as you enter a new chapter, consider strengthening your voice as many of us are (as we walk our own way) listening attentively to the wisdom everywhere around us.
