We all need helpful people to come into our lives, but what is the secret to attracting them?
The helpful people and travel sector in feng shui are in the northwest area of your home or office, so to attract the right helpful people and attract more travel opportunities it is important for you to activate this northwest sector. By doing so you are stimulating your mentor luck, therefore your life, your career, and educational needs will all benefit.
There can be many reasons why we need to attract helpful people, whatever your reason is, please read the tips below on how to do it.
Helpful People
- You can stimulate the northwest energy by any moving metal, it could be a fan, a pendulum clock or even a television. My favorite way to activate this area is by hanging a 6-rod hollow metal wind-chime from the ceiling in the home or office bringing in new opportunities. You can also use color to represent the metal, the colors to use are gold, white, copper or gray. You can use these colors to either paint your walls or to accessorize your room.
- Round-shaped objects represent metal in feng shui, so you can use these instead to activate the northwest area. One of my favourite activations is to use six-round Chinese coins.
Investor
- You may want to attract an investor; you can do this by adding earth images to the northwest. For example, you can hang a picture of mountains, a picture of planet earth, or other planets.
Travel
- If travel is what you desire, add images of the destinations you would like to visit to the northwest sector. Or you could activate it by adding earth elements here such as smooth crystal balls or geodes. I have a globe in the northwest sector of my office, which I frequently spin to activate.
Job Opportunities
- If you want to attract the perfect person who can help you with a new job opportunity or promotion, then add light to the northwest sector. You can do this by placing a tall plant with twinkling fairy lights hanging on it, or a tall floor lamp. Please do not have lit candles or flames in this area.
Mentor
- If you have a particular mentor in mind that you would like to attract help and support from, then activate the northwest. Do this by placing an image of the person, a business card, or an article about them here. If they are an author, place a copy of their book in the northwest sector of your home or office.
Warning
- Do not overstimulate the northwest; choose the one thing that feels right for you, depending on what it is you most desire.
Bonus
- If you are looking for a new man, then activating the northwest sector, may just attract him into your life.
Attracting the right helpful person into your life can be key to your success. There is a famous saying, “It is not what you know, it is who you know.”
