Embracing the Broken Spirit

Growing up, the Wizard of Oz was one of my favorite movies. I just realized why that is so. The Wizard of Oz confirmed for us in our young minds that all of the magic insisted there was real.

It was not hard for us to believe that scarecrows could talk, then all the things that Dorothy encounters on that road to the wizard were just standard operating procedure. Or that scarecrows and tin men could talk. We could believe that Dorothy could actually be blown from Kansas or New York depending on which version you liked.

So why can’t we wrap our brains around angels, spirit guides and God, source, universe? Why is it so difficult to comprehend that we are spirit-being having a human experience?

Simple. Because we grew up. We allowed human limitations to overshadow our spirit-being. Now it is more difficult to come back. Many of us experience awakenings like we were in a coma to bring us back to the place where it was easy for us as children to go.

Inner child healing is one of the best ways to recover what was lost spiritually. Also facing one’s fears regarding who you really are. We must go within to reveal the layers without.

It requires flow rather than discipline. We have to embrace all that Mother Earth has for us. Commune with spirit and love on ourselves to reverse the crime committed on us as children to unlearn spirit and not use our sense of allowing that we were born knowing.

So today embrace your broken spirit. No more being afraid to look at things from a vantage point of spirit. Let yourself flow freely and stay the course when things look crazy.
