Dear Deziree,
I have been going through an awakening for almost a year and a half now since I had a session in which I was told past lives that needed clearing. I feel led to be a healer and while at work find myself reading people sometimes.
Lately, though my daily work has consumed me, I haven’t been connecting with spirit as much as I would like to. I have a vision of a business but with my current occupation to juggle and by summer I will need to change residence which I must make more money. I am not sure what direction to go for a job and where to relocate.
How do people work a full-time job that is stressful and start a business at the same time? My hope would be to take a break from the rat race and take a breath and start my vision.
Signed,
“Have a Vision in Florida”
Dear “Have a Vision in Florida”,
Thank you for the background information which led to your question of, “How do people work a full-time job that is stressful and start a business at the same time?” Good question! I can answer that based on my own experience.
First of all, knowing that your job is just that, a job with no fulfillment and growth for your soul, you realize something has to change. Great! That is clear, now what to do with that? Are you wanting to open a business as a way of escape? Do you have a clear vision of what your business is? These are questions you should be asking yourself.
Before opening a business, know your motives behind it. It will save you a lot of time and aggravation. When you get to the point of knowing why you want this new business and what your motives are, and if they are in alignment with healthiness then it’s time to put a plan in action! For me, the pain of my original business was much greater than what little joy I was receiving from it. Bottom line, it was sucking the life out of me! I used that pain to my advantage, knowing that it would get more painful every day that I was living in my soul’s purpose, I used it to fuel my desire to find a way out.
Next, I envisioned what it would look like to have a career that was in alignment with my soul and how it would feel. There was no comparison, stay in my current business and continue to be miserable or decide that I had enough and would do whatever it takes to create a plan to live my dream life.
Once I was clear in what I wanted and why, it was time to find someone to help me strategize, for me that was Kimberly Maska. My suggestion would be to join her Facebook group Spiritual Biz Success and also download her FREE guide to 7 Steps to Create Your Spiritual Business! Best of luck!
