Welcome everybody, welcome to Spiritual Biz Chat for Spiritual Biz Magazine, and today we have joining us a very special and the dearest to Maska Media guest, Zane Wheeler. Welcome, Zane, thank you for being with us, how are you doing today?

Zane:   I’m great, thank you! So excited to chat. And thanks so much for the opportunity.

It’s a pleasure to have you here, Zane! Could you share the story behind your personal journey down the path to your current life’s purpose and work?

Zane:   Certainly. I absolutely love telling my story because it’s the journey that made me a great coach. My story allows me to connect, to hold space, and to empathize with my clients. This is where healing takes place. I’d had brushes with the divine through childhood and early adulthood. I carried a good deal of baggage from my parents’ divorce and other painful memories from early on. As I grew, I expressed my angst through loud music and partying. This eventually gave way to an era of major addiction.

It was arduous and humbling, but my saving grace throughout was my faith in a metaphysical realm, our spiritual experience, and the fact that I was much more than just an addict. This belief became embedded in my heart through revelations via psychedelics in the years leading up to the following event. One dark night in the deep throes of my opiate addiction, I believed that I was dying from an overdose. I’d said goodbye to the world and waited. Miraculously, my fear dissolved and I woke up. Something else had intervened. The divine in me had already begun to orchestrate events that would lead to my recovery from addiction.

When I got clean ten years ago, I devoted myself to living by my inner knowing. This allowed life to unfold in accordance with my highest good. It wasn’t easy and there were many behaviors and mentalities to burn off, but I kept trusting that I would make it through. I kept following the guidance. This guidance continually pushed me toward service; I learned new healing skills, meditations, and finally, I was led to hypnosis. I had found my calling in trance work and the results my clients were getting were astounding. This was just the beginning of the success, and Bootcamp, which I’ll go into more in a minute, was the ingredient that would soon amplify my service infinitely.

It was in that dark night years ago, on the brink of death, when something in me did die. But the jettisoned weight of this death allowed me to eventually rise like a phoenix, back into a world that needed me, armed with my unique story and my proven plan of healing to serve those still embroiled in the chaos. I am so deeply grateful for my addiction and all of the tribulations prior and since. I embrace my darkness without reservation.

My life is full of healing today. Through meditation, I heal myself now. My clients heal themselves and go on to live their dream lives. Noel, my amazing wife, is a mirror that constantly perpetuates my self-knowledge. My children have taught me how to truly love unconditionally. And now, I welcome the darkest nights because my sword is sharp and I am skilled in the art of its use. It’s only getting better and I am absolutely enjoying the ride.

What was the turning point in taking the steps to make your passion a business? How did you come across Spiritual biz Bootcamp and choose Kimberly Maska as your mentor over many other business coaches and experts out there?

Zane:   When I found Kimberly Maska, I was toying with the idea of truly acknowledging the divine in me by playing bigger, professionally. Where I was previously bashful about charging for my awesome work, she helped me own my value, through just one webinar.

At my intro call, I met the wonderful Daniel Pape, got enrolled, and have never looked back. Spiritual Biz Bootcamp changed my entire understanding of service and how to step up for myself and my soul tribe. I took Bootcamp’s tools and made my business into something which is very unique to me and is still growing limitlessly.

Ask Kimberly, she’s never stopped growing. There is so much potential for what a business can be, especially from a spiritual angle, and that’s what I love about the process: the learning never stops, the growth never stops, the excitement never stops. I mean, this thing is thrilling!

The thrill took some getting used to, however. Over time I learned that what I felt as anxiety and nervousness about playing big was actually a powerful push from within. It’s a compulsion that I now experience as a thrill ride. I simply decided that this divine entity, or force, within me is pushing me into experiences that it wants to have so I better buckle up and enjoy the hell out of it. Kimberly lives it, Daniel lives it. My family and I live it now. Honoring Source, honoring the divine in everything we do, and seeing how big we can go. I wouldn’t trade my experience in Bootcamp for anything because it put me where I am today and I live my absolute dream life.

Those “first enrollment” stories are our favorite and are so exhilarating! What is your “first client” story? What was that feeling like when you made the first sale while in Spiritual Biz Bootcamp?

Zane:   I remember I was doing an intro call with a gentleman interested in my course, Shadow to Shine Online. I had stepped away from lunch with my family in the middle of the day at a restaurant. I went into a garden area at the back of the place for privacy. I just remember him saying “YES” on the phone and right then the whole world opened up to me. I saw a bright, new horizon stretch out far into the distance and I thought to myself “this is just the beginning, and if it just keeps getting better, then I’m in for a great ride.” I ran back into the restaurant so overjoyed, big smile my face, my wife knew exactly what had happened. I remember asking her if she wanted more food, *laughs* “let’s celebrate!” I yelled. So, we ate, laughed, and breathed big, my eyes harboring tears, my heart full. I’ll never forget it.

Zane, congratulations on receiving the Spiritual Biz $100K Club Award! Tell us a bit about this unique award and what it means to you.

Zane:   I was so pleased to receive this very special award from Kimberly and Daniel and I can’t thank you guys enough. Such an honor. The 100K Club award is really special to me because it shows that I’m walking the talk. What’s funny is that it’s easy to do now because, as you play bigger and bigger, you’re rewarded with more and more courage to propel that upward trajectory. I see that award in my office and it reminds me who’s really driving inside me. The award itself resembles angel wings, reminiscent of that metaphysical realm which is the source of my success — and I’m just lucky to be the vessel for our shared experience. It means that I set out to do something great for the world and even though, early on, I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to support myself – you know, all the normal worldly concerns – I’ve overcome those fears and proved that walking the path of service to humanity can be an exciting, successful, passionate, and dreamy experience.

We understand that Daniel Pape recently asked you to co-author a book with him. For the readers who may not yet know, Daniel is an author, mindset coach, and mystic scholar who has graced our magazine’s cover previously and generously shares his writing masterpieces with our magazine. So, what is your co-authored book about and how did it come to be?

Zane:   This is a great story. As I said, Daniel and I did the intro call for Bootcamp back in the day – 2017 to be exact – and I connected with the guy right away. Great energy. If you’ve met him, you agree, the guy’s fantastic and it’s not up for debate. Although, he will debate you on many other matters…*laughs*

I joined Bootcamp, saw him a bit here and there, and then, as luck would have it, I met him and Kimberly in person here in California, attending an event to see David Wilcock. I was waiting in line and saw these two VIPs go marching arm in arm straight toward the auditorium. I yelled “Maska!” They stopped, we met in the middle and exchanged hugs. Daniel took me by the arm, motioned toward the door, and walked me inside. Real smooth. David gave a great talk. We chatted again afterwards and I was hooked. I knew these heartfelt people meant business and that they were here to change the world.

Fast-forward a few years. Daniel and I had followed each other on social media, exchanged some wild ideas through comments, and had a couple of video calls to connect and decipher the grand lexicon. During that period, Daniel had devoted himself to examining the possibility that great utility could be derived from mythology by viewing it through a psychological lens. Synchronistically, I too was examining these very questions, but from an off-planet perspective, asking whether ETs had been involved in our creation stories. His approach, inner space; my approach, outer. Well, late in 2020 he reached out with a question. He asked, “do you think the Garden of Eden creation myth was solely a historical event, or could it be that it was also an archetypal experience playing out within the human psyche?” Without hesitation, I answered “both”. This exchange lit a massive fire.

And here we are, months later, quite successfully asking new questions and unraveling answers regarding the spiritual evolution of humankind. Currently, we’re working to understand the Ego in its unconscious state, a state that fuels much of the depravity and imbalance of today’s world. And conversely, asking, “can the Ego be understood in a new way in order to be utilized as a powerful tool of awakening?” We aim to shed light on the journey of psychic evolution through Jung’s individuation process as a way to reach those of us in society today who are ready to heal the emotional deficit that seems to affect many.

An unexpected effect of the research phase of this book is that it has thrust me through the wringer of shadow work. I have no doubt that the divine in me had a role in placing us together. I’ve shed tremendous layers of emotional baggage since beginning this project and it’s made the entire experience so life-changing that I can be certain that the actual book will be a literary tool of enormous service. I’m deeply grateful to Daniel for bringing this project my way. Thanks again, brother.

Is there a final message you want to let our readers know? Or just any last little words that you have for them?

Zane:   One thing I always like to remember is, although I have learned to let the divine in me drive my life, I’m not special. Everyone has the ability to align with the part of them that is infinite, undying, and connected to their highest form of service. All that is required is courage, open-mindedness, and the ability to radically accept the contradictory elements in our life. Find humor in the great unfolding. Inner work breeds self-awareness, followed by self-trust, and finally, upon that great foundation — Self-Love. This is the love of the divine in you, as you.

Given the timing of this publication, I feel it important to mention that, to me, the highest form of independence is the liberation that comes with choice. We’ve been talked out, coerced out, of our birthright to choose the life we want to live.

So often I work with clients who feel they’ve lived a life that everyone else wanted them to live. The major breakthrough for them is the moment they pass through the subtle field of guilt surrounding their every action and choose to put their infinite self first. It is in this moment that their conditioning begins to break down and an entirely new being sees the light of day.

I want this for all of humanity but it starts with YOU – the individual. Claim your sovereignty, claim your strength, reclaim your choice. The divine power in you wants a bigger, more successful, exciting, valuable, and fulfilling experience. Set your fear aside and let it have the life it wants. You can thank the divine in me later…

Thank you, Zane, very much! It has been such a pleasure chatting with you today!

Zane:   The pleasure was all mine. Thanks so much for the opportunity. And thanks again to Kimberly and Daniel and all those as Maska Media for the tools to change my life! Love to you all.
