For those who don’t know me yet, I’m Kimberly Maska, the publisher of Spiritual Biz Magazine. I’m also the creator of the Spiritual Biz Coaching Certification program and several other amazing things that help spiritual entrepreneurs achieve the full potential of who they are and serve. I want to take this opportunity today to talk about the words Spiritual Integrity.
It has become part of my mission to start talking about spiritual integrity and what that means because there’s no standard for spiritual coaching or what it means to be a spiritual leader. To be clear, a spiritual coach IS a spiritual leader. A spiritual coach leads people through their expansion of consciousness, which is the epitome of leadership. So a lot of responsibility comes with stepping into the role of a spiritual leader/coach. It needs to be taken seriously.
Anyone can say they’re a spiritual coach, but what does that mean?
I believe you need to earn the right to be called a spiritual coach. You earn that right by being in Spiritual Integrity.
First, let’s look at the word Integrity. You probably think honest and truthful when you hear this word. That is correct, but there is another definition, to be whole and undivided. No fragmentation. Our thoughts, words, and actions must match so we can be whole human beings.
Now we are always going through our growth, right? And we are human, after all, at least most of us. So know that there will always be moments when we’re not in spiritual integrity because that’s part of our expansion process. But a spiritual coach is aware of when they are out of integrity and quickly makes the necessary adjustments to align with integrity again.
My clients, who I call Spiritual Biz Lightworkers, take an Oath of Spiritual Integrity. It means remembering who we are. We’ve forgotten. We came into this dimension and forgot who we were. Then we had all these crazy traumas in our lives, keeping us more in the dark about who we truly are. But those traumas have made us who we are today and are the core of your spiritual coaching business. And now it’s time for you to shine your light and serve the people waiting for you.
Lightworkers need to understand and take this oath so that we bring in a level of authority and expertise to what it means to be a spiritual coach. People that aren’t quite awake yet think we’re a little crazy. They use air quotes when talking about our spiritual practices and joke about what we do. They conjure up visions of tarot cards, psychic reading, and seances and think that is it. They don’t understand that those are modalities, not who you are. You are so much more than that. You are a spiritual coach. You are here to shift consciousness on this planet.
I am on a mission to bring clarity to Spiritual Integrity, so we can be taken seriously and have a ripple effect on this planet. Can you imagine the shift in consciousness when all the lightworkers take the Oath of Spiritual Integrity? I get spirit bumps just thinking about it.
Now let’s look at the Oath of Spiritual Integrity I created for my clients. I encourage you to take the Oath of Spiritual Integrity to shine your light brighter. It will bring you closer to the truth of who you are, the person Source intended when you came into this dimension, which is an Infinite Powerful Being. Feel it as you read it, so it starts to assimilate into every cell of your body, creating a deep knowing of who you are as a spiritual leader.
I will take it here myself, standing in front of God, Source, Infinite Intelligence, and all of you as my witness. So here it goes.
I take this oath of spiritual integrity to serve the world in my most extraordinary capacity as a spiritual coach. (Note: If you’re not a spiritual coach, you could say most extraordinary capacity as a human being. Because this is just about being an amazing human being.)
To the best of my ability and judgment, I swear to fulfill this covenant with Source, God, Infinite Intelligence, The Universe as my witness.
I commit to seeing Source, God, Infinite Intelligence in everything and everyone.
I dedicate myself to believing, acting, and knowing that I am 100% responsible for my actions, my emotions, and my reality.
I am aware that I have psychological and spiritual blind spots, and I dedicate myself to doing the inner work to bring light to the darkness because only by knowing myself can I serve on this planet.
I devote myself to strengthening my connection with Source every single day.
I promise to remind all humans how powerful they are.
I commit to holding every client in their highest light and helping them achieve the best version of themselves. Every step I take is for the good of my clients.
I devote myself to living in integrity and in harmony with my words.
I celebrate contrast, knowing my consciousness expands from the experience. (Note: Every time we are triggered, we’re expanding. It means we must do inner work to be closer to Source, know ourselves better, and expand our consciousness.)
I strive to integrate my shadows so that I can become a whole, fully integrated human being.
I trust that Source is always guiding me to increase my consciousness.
I will be humble.
I will be fearless.
I will be courageous.
I am a Spiritual Biz Lightworker.
And there we have it. All of us need to embody spiritual integrity. At the end of the day, it is about each of us being the best human we can be so that we can all serve on the planet.
Before we leave, let’s talk about “I will be humble.” This phrase hangs people up. What we are saying here is that we KNOW in every cell of our body that we are co-creating with God, Source, Infinite Intelligence, The Universe, whatever name is in alignment with you. While we are indeed powerful but we aren’t creating on our own. Essentially, being humble means, we are keeping our ego in check.
And so, I hope you will join me in taking this oath of spiritual integrity. We all need to stand in this oath because that’s how we will truly serve on this planet and be the best human beings we can be.
