Welcome everybody, welcome to Spiritual Biz Chat for Spiritual Biz Magazine, and today we have joining us women’s empowerment coach Michelle Lee and Intuitive Business Consultant Megan Camille. Welcome, ladies, thank you for being with us, how are you doing today?
MICHELLE: I’m feeling especially magical today and super honored to get to be interviewed for Spiritual Biz Magazine
MEGAN: Thank you so much for having us! It’s a beautiful day.
It’s a pleasure to have you two here! Could each of you briefly share the story behind your personal journey down the path to your current life’s purpose and work? Where did it all begin?
MICHELLE: I became conscious of truly stepping on my path when I was suffering from postpartum depression after a traumatic birth experience. That’s when my intuition said, “this is not how women are meant to experience the power of childbirth”. That was a Divine Message. I had no reason to think that. So, I set out to help women have a better experience. I found Hypnobirthing, which is a process that teaches women how to relax and trust their bodies to give birth painlessly and even joyfully. I discovered during my certification training for Hypnobirthing that women actually LEARN pain in childbirth. After seeing my own clients give birth in peace, joy, and even pleasure, I had to wonder “what else have we “learned” that is causing us pain and is essentially separating us from our power? From that point, I began helping women own their power. Today, that looks like the Sophia Mystery School for Extraordinary People.
MEGAN: That can be quite the rabbit hole! Haha, I’ve been psychic my entire life and have been professionally giving readings since I was a teenager. In my adulthood, I started to use my intuition as a way to guide my life decisions in all areas. Five years ago, I started my first business with no formal education or experience using ONLY my intuition. It was a huge success, and since then I’ve built 4 extremely successful businesses and now consult other business owners on how to tap into their intuition to create ease, flow, and success in their businesses. I also am a co-founder with Michelle Lee (my mom!) of The Sophia Mystery School for Extraordinary People where we make magic practical.
Your work is very inspiring! And to some, spirituality may seem too hard to be put into a business form. So, how have you managed to turn your gifts into a business?
MICHELLE: Great question! The short answer is I couldn’t NOT do it! I simply followed the breadcrumbs my Higher Self was leaving me. My intuition has led me flawlessly for more than 20 years. The biggest challenge was not listening to the people around me that were “nay sayers”. When I felt pulled to take a training, I took it. When I feel pulled to offer a particular service, I offer it. For me, spirituality and business are deeply intertwined. I have a deep knowing that my business is my soul’s mission and purpose… and of course I will be prospered by being committed.
MEGAN: For me, it’s all about the beautiful marriage of strategy AND energetic alignment, as well as knowing my rhythm. Just because I’m a multi-business owner doesn’t mean I hustle and work myself to the bone. I am always honoring my personal rhythm and energy. I know that just doing as other successful entrepreneurs are doesn’t guarantee success but following my intuition does.
There is and always will be a very popular discussion in business management… on masculine vs. feminine, left brain vs right brain, intuition vs. logic, etc. As successful business owners with well-developed spiritual gifts, what is your opinion on the types of energy that should be superior in building and running a business?
MICHELLE: Neither is superior. The balance of the masculine/feminine and strategy/intuition is what makes it work at the highest level. I’ve implemented countless strategies that have worked for seemingly everyone else but bombed for me because it was not aligned with my intuition….and conversely strategies have worked that logically “shouldn’t have”. It’s the balance.
MEGAN: Balance. Balance is so, so necessary. Too much masculine energy in business is what we are used to seeing, and honestly, it’s totally outdated and just doesn’t work for the conscious business owner. Yet, having a primarily feminine-run business would throw the balance off just as much! The beauty of masculine energy in business is the motivation and human action that creates opportunity. The beauty of feminine energy is the ability to receive those opportunities with ease and grace without endlessly spinning your wheels. There’s so much more to this concept, but I’ll leave it there for now.
With the coronavirus pandemic and all this current negative noise around us today, more and more people are turning to lightworkers in their search for peace and comfort. Are you able to share a couple of professional tips on awakening and activating one’s intuition and tuning out noisy distractions?
MICHELLE: Absolutely! Turn off the noise. Our thoughts and emotions are ALWAYS creating our circumstances. If you’re listening to the noise that is touting fear, then you will create things to fear. Conversely, by tuning into love and harmony, you will create that. I meditate daily and, in those meditations, I’m purposefully tuning into Divine Love, harmony, and prosperity. I feel those energies in my body. As a result, my circumstances are loving, prosperous, and harmonious. That’s not to say difficult things don’t happen in my life…but they are fewer and how I handle them is more graciously.
MEGAN: We ALWAYS have two choices, Love or Fear. My intention is to repeatedly choose love. When I am in the vibration of love, I can easily hear, feel, know my intuition. When I am in fear, I hear the doom, logic, and disaster stories. Both can be true. We see both of these realities playing out at the same time. All that means is there is a choice in which one you choose to experience. Love IS the language of intuition.
Megan and Michelle, what is your ultimate goal with your work? What is your mission? Your dream?
MICHELLE: My ultimate goal is to lead our clients to their sovereignty. My vision is that The Sophia Mystery School supports thousands of people every year in awakening to their Divinity and their innate powers of manifestation so that they may live from their wholeness and in joy. Then we will have peace on Earth.
MEGAN: First and foremost, to be of service to others and the planet. By spreading the message and living by example that we are sovereign beings and heaven on earth/the new earth is already upon us, waiting for many to still choose it.
Is there a final message you want to let our readers know? Or just any last little words that you have for them?
MICHELLE: You have within you all of the wisdom and knowledge to live your soul purpose and mission. All that is necessary is to release the programming that you are less than you are. You are here to live your greatest potential!
MEGAN: Your desires exist because you are capable of living them. Know how much power you have. Always, always, always follow your intuition.
