Becoming Undefeated

Becoming UndefeatedStep into the mind of an Olympic athlete for a moment. The average athlete’s main goal is to be undefeated at whatever sport that they have chosen to partake in.

There is a desire within them that leads them to push themselves to the greatest of heights, to become the best of the best; hence why they have become a part of the Olympics. An athlete of this magnitude rather not face defeat by any means.

Many people may overlook the true process that is taking place when an athlete chooses to push themselves to succeed in this extreme world competition.

The athlete has to train both their physical and spiritual self to obtain their goal of being undefeated.

For example, if an athlete wants to run the 100-meter dash under 10 seconds versus their average 11 seconds, they must train their physical body to be capable to move at that pace. In order to do that, they must make the decision in their mind (spiritual self), to first take the initial step to train in the first place. They also may remind themselves of positive affirmations such as “I can do this, this is nothing, 1 more second! that’s it!”. The reason they speak positive affirmations is that this method is able to “psych out” or “push” them to reach this new goal.

I bring up this example of an Olympian athlete because we need to approach our lives as an athlete would their next challenge. We need to obtain the mindset that we can not be defeated by what this 3D world tends to throw at us. We are connected with the “I AM” and everything that we are is greater than what’s happening before us in this realm.

We must shift our perspective and get our spiritual and physical selves in sync if we truly desire to be undefeated in this lifetime.

Go Be Great!
