The #1 reason people build slowly or crash and burn is a misalignment. So how do you determine if you are out of alignment with your business? Here are some questions to ask yourself.
1. AM I DOING THINGS IN MY BUSINESS THAT ARE NOT BRINGING ME CLOSER TO MY TARGETS DAILY?
Let me give you some examples: Taking classes and courses and not implementing, having meetings that have not set agenda or time frame aka “coffee meetings to brainstorm that go nowhere”, partnering with people who do not come through for you on what they claim they are going to do.
2. DO I HAVE A CLEAR VISION ABOUT WHAT I DESIRE TO CREATE WITH MY BUSINESS?
If you do not have a clear vision, then it is difficult to determine whether something is in alignment or not. We can then waste time, energy and money on nonproductive activities, marketing, hiring, etc.
3. DO I SAY ‘NO’ TO THINGS THAT ARE NOT CONTRIBUTING TO MY BUSINESS GROWTH AND MY CLIENT EXPERIENCE?
Some examples here are when fitness based businesses desire my time, energy and yikes my database to advertise their services when our company focus is fertility. Adding any of this in any way, shape or form dilutes my business vision and clarity. It also confuses our client, and the rule of thumb in business when marketing is “A confused mind says no”. So are you confusing your clients with dilution?
4. DO I FEEL GOOD EVERYDAY IN MY BUSINESS RIGHT TO THE VERY CORE OF MY HEART?
If you are doing anything in your business that does not feel good or makes you feel less than grateful in every cell of your being, you are out of alignment. Extremely important for you to feel good in what you are doing. Otherwise, all you have to share with your team, your clients and everyone else you come into contact with is this lower harmonic and that is what you will attract and manifest in your world. So your goal is to do what it takes to feel amazing with your offerings and how you are assisting those beautiful clients of yours.
5. AM I JOURNALING SO THAT EACH DAY I REFLECT UPON MY GRATITUDE AND ACKNOWLEDGING WHAT I LEARNED THIS DAY?
Write it out. Every day. All of the big dogs do it. If people think it is stupid, as Colin Sprake says, “I would rather be wealthy and stupid than smart and broke.” By journaling what you are grateful for, what you learned, what you are acknowledging about your business you will attract more of that juicy deliciousness. Each week – I do mine on Sunday mornings – review your week’s journal. It assists with strengthening that gratitude and your magnetic connection to receiving more.
Take one of these and implement it. Then once you have mastered that habit, take another one and implement it. Eat that elephant one bite at a time. You will be amazed at what will show up in your world with ease.
The key to all of these is to reflect, evaluate, create a plan and implement. Without implementation, you are back to #1 with a healthy dose of excuses. Take charge of your business now and do it!
