I am frequently asked, “What do you do?” Some people look confused when I say, “I’m a Feng Shui & Dowsing Consultant,” because they’ve never heard of feng shui or dowsing. This has happened to me a lot more than usual recently, so it’s prompted me to write this article.
I try and answer their question in simple terms…
What is Feng Shui?
Feng shui is how the energy in our environment affects us. Having this knowledge allows us to alter the energy flow, making the energy more beneficial to us in our living and working environment. How you arrange your home and business has a direct impact on your success, wealth and life. Using feng shui knowledge to move and place objects in your home or business to remedy or activate the energies, can prevent problems and take advantage of all the prosperity, happiness and good fortune of the upcoming year, creating balance and harmony.
What is Dowsing?
If you have ever walked into a property and felt an uneasy feeling about it, these feelings can be hard to explain, but you just know something is wrong. Environmental energies can make our property sick. The earth’s natural vibrations support our mind, body, immune and energy systems. When these natural vibrations are disturbed e.g. by underground water, spirals of negative energy, their energy turns negative.
Electromagnetic fields from man-made power lines, electrical appliances, cell phones, and telecommunications towers are detrimental to our health and put us at physical risk. These negative energy fields can impact our body and immune system, and reduce our success in business and relationships. I use dowsing rods to help to find and cure the negative environmental energies.
I’m a great follower of the Law of Attraction and believe if your house radiates a high positive vibration of energy, it will attract the same back. It works the same way as the law of attraction works with people. The higher the frequency of your energy, the lighter you feel in your mental, emotional and physical bodies. You experience greater love, joy and personal power.
A question that always seems to follow is…
Do I need to feng shui & dowse my house/business?
I answer this question with a very important question…
How are things going for you at the moment? If everything is going okay, then my view is, if it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
Feng Shui & Dowsing are one of the three factors of the cosmic trinity of luck. The feng shui theory is that our wealth and success depends on these 3 factors;
Heavenly Luck (33.3%) – you are born into this luck and we cannot control this, e.g. your astrological chart.
Human Luck (33.3%) – you generate this luck from the decisions you make, your actions and the effort you put into your life. This factor is directly controlled by us.
Earth Luck (33.3%) – using feng shui & dowsing you can control this luck by changing your environment, curing negative energy and activating the positive energy. How you arrange your home and business can have a direct effect on all the occupants.
Most feng shui afflictions can be remedied, giving you control of two-thirds of your luck, the human luck and the earth luck, which means you are in control of a lot of luck! There are lots of different feng shui styles, which can be classified into these three categories, Classical/Traditional, Black Sect, Modern/Intuitive; choose one style to follow, and please don’t mix them. I am qualified in Classical Feng Shui.

What if my partner doesn’t believe in feng shui or dowsing, will it still work?
Yes, feng shui and dowsing will still work even if YOU don’t believe in it. It will still cure and activate the feng shui energies in your property. The dowsing will still cure the environmental energies, increasing the energy level significantly in your home, attracting more of the same positive energy back into your life.
