1. Don’t let anger control you. Don’t let hate enslave you. Don’t let negativity overcome you. Don’t let bitterness conquer you.
2. Raise your love so high that anger cannot reach it.
3. A drop of anger can lead to an ocean of troubles.
4. If you swallow your anger you are feeding your patience.
5. Anger has great strength, but no brains. Greed has many hands, but no heart. Fear has many titles, but no honor. Hate has many forms, but no soul.
6. To achieve peace let go of: guilt, anger, and bitterness. To achieve happiness embrace: virtue, faith, and love.
7. If you are angry for one second, it leaves you with only fifty-nine seconds of happiness.
8. Anger is loud, rage is deafening, and wrath is thunderous; only love can silence them.
9. Anger slowly. Forgive quickly. Trust cautiously. Love easily.
10. An open heart has greater power than a clenched fist.
11. Jealousy stings, envy poisons, anger harms, and hate murders.
12. Love is louder than anger, even in silence.
13. When you frown, it amuses your enemies. When you sulk, it gratifies your enemies. When you cry, it tickles your enemies. When you smile, it agitates them. When you laugh, it angers them. When you glow, it infuriates them.
14. When bitter, say little; when angry, say nothing; when happy, say much; when joyful, say all.
15. Be merry, because it confuses your enemies; happy, because it annoys them; cheerful, because it angers them; and joyful, because it kills them.
Clenched fists are not open to receive blessings.
